She asked me about the restaurant that my sister and I used to own. It reminded me of our opening day. We had lots of friends helping us and noone was getting paid, they all just offered to help. It was so funny, we had Vicki on dishes and in charge of toast, Marty was on bacon, sausage and ham. Ed was on hashbrowns and My sister CJ and I were on eggs, and pancakes and we were all waiting tables. We decided to have a 99 cent special of 2 eggs, sausage or bacon and hashbrowns or pancakes or something we called hodgepodge it was an egg skillet with cheese, greenpeppers, onions, and meats. Anyway, we got busy, there were people lined up all around the building. We were trying so hard. There were double screen doors that looked right out the back of the kitchen into the back parking lot. The busier we got, the more stuff we burned, and flipped eggs were cracked and destroyed to no recognition. next thing you know we just opened the back doors and started flinging pancakes and stuff out the back door like they were frizbees. We even had these 2 customers Pat and Jim that got up and helped wait tables and pour coffee. It was quite a site. They were construction guys and wearing their big overalls and their big boots going around asking "Can I pour you some more coffee ma'am?" Talk about fun. Thanks to all my friends for that and thanks to Suzanne for reminding me about how much fun I used to have with my restaurant CHENDY's

HEY LAS VEGAS!!!!! I would like that to include my career. I am confident in being the assistant to a professional. My attitude is, if I haven’t tried it, and there’s a way to do it, I will figure it out. I love a challenge. I don’t necessarily care if it’s a 9 to 5 job. I am able to work any times of the day and weekends. I am single, so I have the freedom to travel at the drop of a hat, if necessary. The possibilities are endless and so are my talents and skills.

TARGET JOB	Target Job Title:	Personal Assistant
Desired Job Type:	Employee
Desired Status:	Full-Time
Site Location:	No Preference
Description of my perfect job:
My ideal job, would to be someone’s personal assistant. I evaluate data and coordinate overall activities, schedule and coordinate such activities with Supervisor, vendors, crew, employees, local service groups or whomever else may be involved.

I deal with numerous standards and guidelines for complex and analytical decisions, there are no routine decisions in this department. Just read straight through, and you'll get the point (an awesome one)
that it is trying to make!

Take this quiz:

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America
contest.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer
prize.

5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for
best actor and
actress.

6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series
winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of
yesterday. These
are no
second-rate achievers.
They are the best in their fields.

But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements
are forgotten.

Accolades and certificates are buried with their
owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through
school.

2. Name three friends who have helped you through a
difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something
worthwhile.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel
appreciated and special.

5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

6. Name half a dozen heroes whose stories have
inspired you.

Easier?

The lesson:

The people who make a difference in your life are not
the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards.

They are the ones that care.

Pass this on to those people who have made a
difference in your life.

"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today.

It's already tomorrow in Australia."

----- Charles Schultz

Single and all alone in Las Vegas...whats a girl to do. I just thought of something....maybe I will meet my perfect man when I start at the Casino. I better wear make-up to work....picture it....sweating my ass off in the kitchen, running to get 1,000 dinners out and having mascara running down my face. I will look like Alice Cooper working there. I guess I better come up with a better plan. What do you think about natural beauty??? hmmm, um....I don't think so. Now THIS IS a dillema. I think God shined on me since I stayed up all night for charity. After the blogathon, I took about a 4 hour nap, then I went to get my new car. 1993 5.0 Mustang convertible. Maroon with a black top. One of my favorite cars. wwwooohhooooo......just something about riding around with my top down that gives me a thrill.....then yesterday I got a job by way of a good refrence from someone I catered a church job with. Now I will be a cook in one of the finest casinos here in Las Vegas. I wasn't even looking for that kind of job, but I love that kind of work....just think, maybe someday I will work with or meet Emeril or Bobby Flay. My girlfriend did the "follow that food" segment about the pineapple and she was on the TV a few months ago. That is the girl that said she wanted me in her kitchen. You just don't get a bigger compliment than that. Thanks Chef Bonnie, I owe you one.

Now I got the new car, new job....so all I need is a new rich husband....he doesn't even have to be new....he could be used, just like my car....wish me luck. Water or Coke? We all know

That water is important but I've never seen it written down

like this before.

WATER

1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated.

2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that

it is often mistaken for hunger.

3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism

as much as 3%.

4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs

for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of

Washington study.

5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water

a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to

80% of sufferers.

7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term

memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on

the computer screen or on a printed page.

8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of

colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast

cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop

bladder cancer.

And now for the properties of COKE:

1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two

gallons of coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway

after a car accident.

2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be

gone in two days.

3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet

bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush

clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous

China.

4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the

Bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum

foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can

of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.

6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in

Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the

Baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake.

Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil,

allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a

sumptuous brown gravy.

8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into

a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a

regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains.

9. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

For Your Info:

1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its

pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. Phosphoric

acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major

contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.

2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial

truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved

for Highly corrosive materials.

3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the

engines of their trucks for about 20 years!

Now the question is, would you like a coke or a glass of

water? How many of you had cokes all night to try to stay awake for the blogathon???? LOL

ok, how about a little fun now...
No cheating. Goodman came within 277 votes of winning the job in last month's election and polls project that he will come out on top this time.

In this city of glitz and gambling, understatement is one sin Las Vegans won't tolerate. "One thing I can assure you that I can offer is a little bit of charisma. I've got a bit of a reputation," says Goodman.

Las Vegas mayoral candidate Oscar Goodman
Goodman is a well-known Las Vegas figure, having won cases for such notorious mobsters as Tony "The Ant" Spilotro and Meyer Lansky. He played himself in Martin Scorsese's "Casino," a movie about organized crime in Las Vegas.

His clients have included Spilotro, the gangster who, legend has it, put a rival's head in a vise and squeezed his eyeballs out.

Goodman says his past is a plus with the voters and he is just defending the underdog: "The people love the people that I've represented as far as bringing intrigue into the area here."

Although Goodman doesn't want to advertise some of his more unsavory clients, refusing to allow CNN's cameras into his inner office stuffed with mobster memorabilia, he is also blitzing the airwaves with his new Mr. Nice Guy image.

"I will not allow the citizens of Las Vegas to be pushed around by those developers who are out to make a fast buck," he says in one of his campaign advertisements.

Bugsy Siegel put Las Vegas on the map back in the 1940s. Since then, the city has worked at shedding its reputation as a Mob haven. It's trying to lure families and upscale tourist with a more wholesome image. Goodman's opponent, the bit too bland Iowa-born Arnie Adamsen, says Goodman will tarnish that image.

"Las Vegas has spent millions of dollars, hundreds of millions of dollars. in advertising promotions over the last 10 to 12 years to show that we are no longer Sin City," Adamsen said.

Adamsen and his supporters say Goodman will turn back the clock for Las Vegas.

"That's Oscar Goodman's Las Vegas. Mobsters, drug dealers and sex offenders set free. Now that will be a city we can be proud of," according to one of Adamsen's campaign advertisements.

But if opinion polls are right, Las Vegans look ready to wager the city's future on a rakish future of the past.

Mayor Goodman has been our Mayor for a few years, he's the kinda guy who throws a big party on Fremont street with all the girls, glamor and music and fun promoting Bombay Gin and the next day, he was on TV telling everyone to get down to the hospital and give blood, we were having a big blood shortage problem.
I can't even imagine anyone else running this town, apparently I'm not the only one, because he won by getting at least 80% of the votes this last election.

http://www.lasvegassun.com/sunbin/stories/text/2001/oct/10/512469440.html
This site has some great mob stuff.
By David Strom at the Las Vegas sun strow@lasvegassun.com
This site :http://www.americanmafia.com/Inside_Vegas/1-6-03_Inside_Vegas.html
is written by Steve Miller. The 2,000,000 lightbulbs make the four-block awning the largest electric sign in the world; the next largest is being rebuilt in front of The Las Vegas Hilton (only 1/50th the size of The Fremont Street Experience). Visitors totaled 3.8 million for the first five months of 1995 and 9,913,705 in 1994.
I CAN'T REALLY TELL YOU HOW DEEP IT IS, BECAUSE WE HAVE HAD SUCH A BAD DROUGHT, THE WATER LEVEL HAS GONE DOWN ABOUT 50 FEET AT LEAST. THERE WAS A TOWN THERE THEY EVACUATED BEFORE THEY FLOODED IT TO MAKE THE LAKE AND DAM, The town was called St. John. I called the Lake Mead information center for that info and the girl that answered didn't know what the name was. I did find out from a friend of mine that has been here since he was born, 70 years ago.
Now the lake is so low, you can see the top of the buildings that are still down there. A friend of mine Joe Schwatrz used to teach scuba diving there a long time ago. He had so many stories, I wish he was here to tell to me again, but he passed away early this year. I miss ya Joey.
Last year or maybe it was 2 years ago, there was an alligator scare. They found an aligator in the lake. Apparently someone had it as a pet and let the thing loose in there. It takes all kinds of idiots to make the world go round I guess.
I went skiing in Lake Mead about 15 years ago, when it was so clear, you could see to the bottom easily. I was up on the skis having a great time, and I looked down and saw this fish about 4 feet long!!! It scared the hell out of me and I fell right in on top of it..I almost ran ontop the water trying to get back in the boat.
I hung around with some friends that I used to camp with a few years ago, Mike Stone, who also has gone to Heaven was my best friend. But he saved me from a 10 foot long scorpion that had me cornered in the outhouse. (ok, maybe it was a little smaller) BUT it was looking at me real mean.
We rented pontoon boats one time and my friend Jack was driving the boat, everyone went to the front of the boat to see something in the water, the next thing we knew, the whole front of the boat was going under....it was so funny....(afterwards)....the only thing we almost lost was a bag of Jays BBQ potatoe chips that tried to float away....lucky thing Mike Stone was still there to save them.
At the Lake Mead Marina, there are fish so thick, they practically jump onto the pier. People go there all the time to feed the fish popcorn and stuff. They are huge. If you caught one of them, I have a great recipe for it. Clean the fish, get a piece of mesquite wood, coat it with olive oil, season the fish and the wood with garlic, salt, pepper, and onion powder, cook over an open flame for 10 minutes, when it looks done, throw the fish away and eat the wood.
http://www.nps.gov/lame/

There is an enire list of hotels and their phone info at this site:
http://www.lvol.com/hotelnks.html
There is no sense in me doing all that work, when someone else has already done it.
Time for me to make dinner now, Thank God I have the next couple posts already done.

HOOVER DAM -- 34 miles from Las Vegas, 726 feet high, wonder of the modern world, tours of inside and outside of dam available; in July 1994, the 30 millionth visitor toured the dam since it opened. Either way, the first few
hours of a Saturday morning are most enjoyable.

A few weeks ago, I was shuffling toward the kitchen
with a steaming cup of coffee in one hand and the
morning paper in the other. What began as a typical
Saturday morning turned into one of those lessons that
life seems to hand you from time to time. Let me tell
you about it.

I turned the volume up on my radio in order to listen
to a Saturday morning talk show. I heard an older
sounding chap with a golden voice.

You know the kind, he sounded like he should be in the
broadcasting business himself.

He was talking about "a thousand marbles" to someone
named "Tom." I was intrigued and sat down to listen to
what he had to say. "Well, Tom, it sure sounds like
you're busy with your job. I'm sure they pay you well
but it's a shame you have to be away from home and
your family so much.

Hard to believe a young fellow should have to work
sixty or seventy hours a week to make ends meet. Too
bad you missed your daughter's dance recital."

He continued, "Let me tell you something Tom,
something that has helped me keep a good perspective
on my own priorities." And that's when he began to
explain his theory of a "thousand marbles."

"You see, I sat down one day and did a little
arithmetic. The average person lives about
seventy-five years. I know, some live more and some
live less, but on average, folks live about
seventy-five years."

"Now then, I multiplied 75 times 52 and I came up with
3900 which is the number of Saturdays that the average
person has in their entire lifetime.

Now stick with me Tom, I'm getting to the important
part." "It took me until I was fifty-five years old to
think about all this in any detail," he went on, "and
by that time I had lived through over twenty-eight
hundred Saturdays. I got to thinking that if I lived
to be seventy-five, I only had about a thousand of
them left to enjoy."

"So I went to a toy store and bought every single
marble they had. I ended up having to visit three toy
stores to roundup 1000 marbles. I took them home and
put them inside of a large, clear plastic container
right here in my workshop next to the radio. Every
Saturday since then, I have taken one marble out and
thrown it away."

"I found that by watching the marbles diminish, I
focused more on the really important things in life.
There is nothing like watching your time here on this
earth run out to help get your priorities straight."

"Now let me tell you one last thing before I sign-off
with you and take my lovely wife out for breakfast.
This morning, I took the very last marble out of
the container. I figure if I make it until next
Saturday then God has blessed me with a little extra
time to be with my loved ones......

"It was nice to talk to you Tom, I hope you spend
more time with your loved ones, and I hope to meet
you again someday. Have a good morning!"

You could have heard a pin drop when he finished. Even
the show's moderator didn't have anything to say for
a few moments. I guess he gave us all a lot to think
about. I had planned to do some work that morning,
then go to the gym.

Instead, I went upstairs and woke my wife up with a
kiss. "C'mon honey, I'm taking you and the kids to
breakfast."

"What brought this on?" she asked with a smile.

"Oh, nothing special," I said. " It has just been a
long time since we spent a Saturday together with the
kids. Hey, can we stop at a toy store while we're out?
I need to buy some marbles."

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND AND MAY ALL SATURDAYS BE SPECIAL
AND MAY YOU HAVE MANY HAPPY YEARS AFTER YOU LOSE ALL
YOUR MARBLES.
Now here I sit, spending one of my special Saturdays doing what I like to do best. Try to help other people.
Just like the rest of the Bloggers who got up early this morning, working all week to get their ideas together, planning going crazy with their first post, not knowing if they will remember to get them in on time, lol...it's just too funny. But all in all, this is going to be one of my favorite Saturdays. I'm going in the shower now, so at least I smell good for my Special Saturday.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnd they're off....Well good morning everyone.
It's the fist post of the Blogathon. 6 flippin a.m. in the morning. But that's ok, because it's for a good cause. So I have my coffee, my smokes, in my jammies, the dogs by my feet and uhhhhhh, well, to tell you the truth, I guess this days is just like any other so far. Although usually if I am up at 5:30 a.m. that's because I am still up from the night before. Well, Here goes. So far I got 2 hours sleep. I was worried I wouldn't hear the alarm and couldn't sleep.
I promised a bunch of info on Las Vegas and I hope it helps someone, somewhere, someway. I'm also going to throw a few quizzes, jokes and fun stuff in now and then.
You still have time to be a sponsor, so if you'd like to be part of this record breaking day, and you sponsor me, e-mail me your address and I will send you your Teddy Bear.
Good Luck to all the others who are doing the Blogathon also. I just can't believe my luck. Yesterday, I stopped by a local watering hole that I used to work at to have a beer with a friend. His name is Roger and he is 66 years old. He is one of my very dearest friends. I started telling him about the Blogathon, and that I can't afford to donate money at this time, but, I can afford to spend 24 hours of my time to help. It just so happens that Roger moved here when he was 12 and his father was a bartender out here. He was just spilling all kinds of info. So I grabbed a pen and an old envelope out of my purse and started scribbling out notes. We went to lunch and he was still telling me stories. What a break. My 18 year old son will be here for the next 2 weeks, so I won't get to do alot of research. But I got alot from Roger and he said he will come up with some more stories for me. Is that great or what????

OK, here it is...the unveiling!!!! THE HUNTER
because he goes deep in the bush, shoots twice, and always eats what he shoots. YEAH BABY!!!!
>>
9. To the right is a carport with a pool table, if you go straight, there is a fish pond, with a dog house made to be kind of like a water wheel house. To the left of that is our pool. It's a doughboy about 4 feet deep. Just perfect for us. (My mother, sister and I all have a house. We're like the Golden Girls, but younger.) The water gets nice real fast in this pool. You know, not too cold to freeze your nipples off or give the guys that TURTLE effect. To the left of that is a shed.
Well yesterday mom and I decided to clean out the pool. You would have to know my mom, she is a cross between Lucy, and Bad Luck Schleprock. If there is something in front of her, she will either fall on it, break it, hurt herself, paint it, move it or give it to anyone that says they like it. She has a very big heart.
Ok, where was I? Oh yea, So anyway, we were cleaning the pool. So a friend of mine was over helping. He is a big 6'4" mex Indain with long black hair to his waist. Let me just tell you how handy he is...umm.....see that lightbulb thats out? Well, he would never be able to figure out how to change it.
So anyway, mom sends the Indian to go get bleach for the pool, it was getting a little bit green, her and I grab some stringie mops and start cleaning the sides and the bottom of the pool. We decided not to empty it, because it floods the neighbors house, and he has some roosters over there and he gets mad. (Which I wouldn't mind if they did float away) Now mind you, mom at this time is wearing a long white night shirt to her knees, and she goes COMMANDO. Well, we all know what happens when you have a wet T-shirt contest.......Need I say anymore? So the Indian gets back with the bleach, she dumps the whole gallon into the pool, next thing, I see her walking out of the shed with something else in her hand and tosses this little white chlorine cake into the center of the pool, as she is reading on the directions, DO NOT THROW THIS CHLORINE CAKE DIRECTLY INTO THE POOL. So needless to say she yells.."GET THAT OUT!!!" oh yea, right, we can't even see the bottom of the pool yet. So we try to find it and we firgure out, if we just keep the water moving, it should be ok.
The water started clearing up really fast, and except for the nuclear bubbles on top, I was almost tempted to get in.
I went in to get me and the Indian a beer, when I came out, Mom is sitting on the edge of the pool, with water gushing out all around her. Water heading toward the neighbors house, she yells "Get a shovel and dig a ditch!!!!!" So the Indian scrambles around to find a shovel....c'mon, this guy couldn't find a volkswagon in a refridgerator. So she gets up to stop the water flow and decides she better go change clothes. I don't know, there was just something about seeing my mom's buttcrack through that T-shirt that just cracked me up. The Indian was busy digging a ditch, so I don't think he noticed. I was laughing my ass off.
When mom came back out, she saw the valve for the pool and stuck her finger in it and said, "what's this?" Well, it WAS the thing holding the water IN the pool. Naturally, we don't have a cap for it. Now, we HAVE to get that ditch dug and fast...lol..so we ran a ditch to the fishpond. Then she came out of the shed with a white adapter and stuck it in there so we could hook a hose to it and let it go down the drive way. This way is not quick enough for mom, so she sits on the side again bouncing up and down, I was just waiting for her to go in backwards, gushing water all over again...she had me laughing so hard. Now mind you, She didn't want to take the water out, so when I asked her why she was letting the water out, she said there were too many chemicals in it. Do you think she could have thought of that BEFORE she threw all that stuff in there? I love ya mom.

Today is just one of those days. I am really restless. I have already made lunch and cleaned the kitchen from my roommates and myself. Did laundry and painted the front porch step. I know, big deal. I decided I either want to open a 99 cent store, or become someones personal assistant. I have wanted to be a Personal Assistant for a LONG time. My objective is to live fun filled exciting life. The possibilities are endless and so are my talents and skills
.A little about myself: I am 41 years old originally from the south suburbs of Chicago.I owned and operated my own catering business for 10 years. And also owned a restraunt for 2 years in Hammond Indiana called Chendy’s. I love to cook and create in the kitchen.I have passion for my computer and being more educated.I am very loyal, honest and dependable.I have worn many hats in my life. I will try just about anything once.If I don’t know how to figure something out, I will find a way to make it work. One of my favorite jobs is bartending. Anytime I have been in between jobs, I have always had that to fall back on. I have my own pool stick, bowling ball and golf clubs. I’m not real good at any of them, but I love to play.
My education consists of:
Windows 95,97 and 98, Office automation, Kea, Quicken, Powerpoint-automated presentations, Word, Tables and Spreadsheets, Excel, Access, Project, MP2 Datastream maintenance program, Hyperion solutions, Oracle, Internet, Web pages, Outlook Express, Have gone to seminars in:Stress Management,	The “Exceptional Assistant”, Increasing the quality and quantity of life, Work performance standards

Now with that said, don't you think I'd make a great Personal Assistant? Just in case you know of anyone looking for a unique situation like that, please feel free to forward my page to them.

So it's friday the 13th. I am just getting recouperated from a broken knee. The Dr. has partially released me for work finally, so do you know what that means? So far I haven't worked for 7 months, and now because I have been partially released for work, I can't get help from the state with my bills, which they have given me 2 times in 7 months, ( a whopping $300 to cover over $1,000 in bills and rent per month) and unemployment won't let me claim because I am only partially released which would be $124 a week...BFD!!!! but even that would put food on the table...even if I don't have a roof over it anymore. ...what a crock. I have been looking for work for the past 2 months. I'm starting to think maybe I should go to another country for work. At least if I l live in another country, the USA will feed me. If he seems genuinely concerned for your comfort, he's a keeper; if he acts annoyed or put off by it, throw him back.

You got a built-in crap detecter with that walker.

OMG!!!!! You have no idea how close that hit home. Let me tell you about it.

My grandmother has MS. She has been in a wheelchair since my father was 18 (he is now 65 and has Parkinson's.)

When I was growing up, my grandparents lived in a house with stairs. I remember him having to carry her up and down the stairs everytime they went anywhere. They lived in Posen, Illinois, where it snowed, too. He would go to work (a union electrician) and when he came home she would have dinner ready for him. He was a meat and potatoes kinda guy.

She tried her hardest to keep up the house, but my grandfather would do the mopping, baseboards etc.

I remember sitting in the backseat of the car, watching my Grandfather (God rest his soul) carrying my Grandmother up the stairs and thinking "that's the kind of man I want in my life when I grow up."

30 years later, you'd think I would have run into a man like him by now.

Grandpa, if you are up there, would you please send me someone just like you?

I miss you alot.

Love, Me.

THE FIVE SECRETS TO A GREAT RELATIONSHIP
1. (she treated for our birthdays) but I didn't find the perfect man there either. Do you suppose he was walking out when I was walking in? Maybe he was having a massage the same time I was and I just missed him. Well, he wasn't out at the pool....whoever he is....and he wasn't at the Pyramid Cafe' (My girlfriend is the Exc. Chef there and we went there for lunch.) I guess I shouldn't be in any hurry, because all the way there my friend was telling me about all the crap she is going through with her husband of 2 months. Of course we were driving in the brand new Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo car that he bought her and then we went to see the new house he just got her also.... Makes me wonder, is all the nice stuff worth all the fighting? I really don't think so. I know I don't like living like that. I sure wouldn't mind getting a car and a house though...even though I am happy with my apt. I just don't care for all the noisy neighbors. I would love to have a kitchen window looking out into the backyard with the pool, like she has.....maybe I just need to find a rich married guy that lives far away and just comes to town once in awhile and will buy me a Condo.... you know, like Richard Gere offered Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. (I love Cinderella movies) But unfortunatly, thats not my style....should I change my style? My style hasn't been working so far...lol

ok, so this morning I figured out the comments...maybe one of the TV stations will get in touch with me and I will be the next Bachelorette on TV.....NOT..I hated those shows, except maybe Joe Millionaire. I like these things: music, country, jazz, romantic sax, and oldies, I love nice dinners (Hugo's Celler at the 4 Queens is one of my favorites. 5 star and worth it) I like dressing up to go out, I like wearing ratty old jeans and a hat going to the races, I LOVE Monster trucks, and Nascar. This stupid computer is a passion of mine. Can't learn enough. Didn't think this old brain could handle anymore, but I still suprise myself now and then. I like weird sunglasses, hats, Jacuzzi's, rainy days, camping, fishing, ( I can bait a hook, but I can't take the poor little fishies off the hook) Golf...(poor birds) although I do lose alot of balls in the water. I love the colors pink and purple. I love to spoil and be spoiled. I love to suprise someone and do things they are not accustomed to. I don't lay out in the sun so if you want a long tall tanned skinny chick, hit delete now. I figure if you don't like me the way I am now, you really won't like me skinny and bitchie......., ok, I'm going to see if this stupid thing will post now. I don't mind flippin' for dinner or something now and then, but I am a little tired of supporting and arguing over $10.00. I like a nice smile and a mouth that can say a whole sentance without the work Fuck in it. I mean, everyone says it, but it doesn't have to dominate a conversation. I like a man that can drink without getting sloppy drunk and after a few drinks gets that melted face that looks like they just want to fight.

And I like a clean bathroom. So if you like to spit your toothpaste so it gets all over the mirror, the faucet and leaves big slimy mints in the sink, forget it. I am by no means a clean FREAK, but I do like some things clean. I don't want to feel like I am in a public restroom when I am at home.
Teeth are a must, they don't have to be real ones, but I don't care for the toothless type. My friend Kate got me into this. (I'll get you for this Kate!!!) I will give you her blog address as soon as I figure this blogging crap out. You will love Kate, she is funny, witty, and just pure inspiration.

Well here it is, I was married at 20, I have 2 sons, Jeremy and Cory. They are they loves of my life. I divorced at 30 and now, here I am at 40 still looking for that special someone that I can trust and love forever. I want the kind of relationship that I want to go out in the middle of the night to get him something he's craving and visa versa. Or just go that extra mile just because it would make the other persons stress just a little easier. Take some of the load off. And I want someone who is willing to do that for me. Someone loveable, but lets me have my own space.

More to come about what I like in a man and some of my dislikes and more about me, but first I have to see if I can get this thing working the way I want.

Ok, so here it is...I am in search of the perfect man.
